Am 27. und 28. Juni 2012 findet in Genf eine große, hochkarätig besetzte Tagung zur Demokratietheorie statt. Unter dem Namen „Moral and Political Perspectives on Democracy“ diskutieren unter anderem Jane Mansbridge, Michael Saward, Melissa Williams, David Miller, Jonathan Wolff, Annabelle Lever, Richard Bellamy und Archon Fung über Themen wie Repräsentation, Konstitutionalismus oder Demokratie in der internationalen Perspektive. Wer teilnehmen möchte muss bis zum 30. April sein Interesse signalisieren, ob es eine Teilnahmegebühr geben wird, ist noch nicht entschieden.
